The Big Happy hails from Long Island, NY. Known for their high energy performance, the head bangin’, guitar skankin’, rhyme bus- tin’ 4 piece powerhouse blends sounds of Jam, Hip Hop, Reggae, and Rock & Roll, mixing up the perfect recipe for a good time.

Band History & Touring Activity

The Big Happy is a 4-piece group with a unique high-energy style, that is committed to giving show goers and fans an exciting and memorable experience. Founded in 2018, The Big Happy takes influence from groups such as: The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, The Dirty Heads, Gorllaz, and Linkin Park. Known for their humorous - story driven music videos, the group released a full-length album in 2023, "So Far So Good," and recently released 4 singles for their upcoming sophomore album, one of which being "The Road ft. Oogee Lee." Currently the band consists of Austin Morgan (Vocals), Joseph Baquet (Guitar/Vocals), Jeff Weisz (Bass), Jeremy Wexler (Drums).

For 8 years the Long Island group has toured the East Coast, frequenting New England. The Big Happy has developed residencies at music festivals and venues in upstate NY, Portland, ME, and Burlington, VT, as well having experience on MD shores, and FL. The group has shared stages with acts such as Beres Hammond at The Paramount (Huntington, NY), and Slightly Stoopid at The Great South Bay Music Festival (Patchogue, NY), and is slated to open for Joe Samba at Camp Kevin Fest 2025 (Hunlock Creek, PA).
